Welcome to my gallery section! From here you can navigate into several different galleries, each showcasing a different style of work, from realistic portraits (or at least as realistic as I can make them) to character portraits to animation copies.

I generally work on artist quality drawing or watercolor paper. Although much of my earlier work is done in pencil with shading, I also have a number of pieces in chalk pastel. My set of Conte pastels from France were my pride and joy until I stumbled onto Derwent water color pencils.

From then on I've been hooked. Why do I love them? Because watercolors can give you a great deal of vibrant color and versatility, and the pencils give you a greater deal of control than your average brush. Of course I'm just used to working with pencils and I reserve my brushwork for the pewter miniatures and resin models that I paint.

So feel free to browse through the galleries. New works will be periodically added, since of late I have been creating more and more fantasy based pieces. Click on the thumb nail for an enlarged image and comments on the piece.
